My name is David Kim and I am a recent graduate of the UCLA coding bootcamp. I enjoy problem solving and learning new things, especially technology. I have experience as an Aviation maintenance technician, but my love for computers and software has lead me to become a programmer. I am also a golf and surfing enthusiast as well as computer gaming!

Recently graduated UCLA coding bootcamp. I help build a friend's portfolio for his Graphic Design career. I am also in the making of a e-cigarette site to launch in South Korea called "Juul Korea" to promote healthier lifestyle. I am also studying different frameworks and languages to better myself to become a great Web developer.

UCLA Coding Bootcamp


Graduated UCLA extension coding bootcamp. A very intense curriculum that covered full-stack including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, Responsive Design, Node.js, React.js, Heroku, UserAuth, MongoDB, MySQL, JAVA, and more! The cohort started with 30 individuals and ended with 18 students. The 24 week immersive program has taught me to learn how to become a computer programmer and better understand how websites and applications are made.

Horizon Aviation

Ramp and Baggage coordinator

As a coordinator for ramp and baggage, I was in charge of coordinating different employees from different companies and airlines. I had to perform under time constrained hours and filed all post departure paperwork per flight. I learned to utilize the most current softwares such as Amadeus and Matrix. Prepared and issue appropriate loading instructions and fueling, and adjust load plans to meet operational needs. Had to communicate operationally-pertinent information to station personnel, such as(Airline Operations, Airline Managers, Airline Security, Airline Ground Personnel.

Spartan College of Aeronautics


Attended Spartan College for two years and obtained an A&P license and certification. Learned Airframe & Powerplant. Clocked hours: 2340. Consisted of 3 general units, 5 airframe units, 5 powerplant units, 1 inspection and review unit. Each unit lasted 5 weeks long, and covered a specific area of aircraft maintenance and repair. With Classroom lectures, discussions and hands-on training.

Dream Tree Tutoring


As a tutor for Dream Tree located in Palos Verdes I taught and tutored childrens grades K-8. I was in charge of creating material for children to learn. Graded homework assignments when the children finished their assignments. I help tutor children with punctuation and reading skills. Helped provide feedback to the chlidren's parents on a weekly basis.
